2026 Estimated Tax Schedule

Based on your 2025 tax return and projected 2026 income, the following estimated tax payment schedule applies to your corporation. Making timely estimated payments helps avoid underpayment penalties and spreads your tax obligation throughout the year.

Quarterly payment schedule

QuarterDue DateEstimated PaymentStatus
Q1 2026April 15, 2026$12,500Due
Q2 2026June 15, 2026$12,500Upcoming
Q3 2026September 15, 2026$12,500Upcoming
Q4 2026January 15, 2027$12,500Upcoming

Total estimated tax for 2026: $50,000

These amounts are based on the safe harbor method (100% of prior year tax liability). We will adjust the amounts after Q2 if your actual income differs significantly from projections.

How to make estimated payments

Estimated tax payments can be made through any of the following methods. We recommend setting up EFTPS for scheduled automatic payments.

Option 1: EFTPS (Recommended)

  1. Log in at eftps.gov
  2. Select “Make a Payment”
  3. Tax form: 1120
  4. Tax type: Estimated Tax (1120)
  5. Tax period: Select the applicable quarter
  6. Enter the payment amount and settlement date
  7. You can also schedule recurring payments for all four quarters at once

Option 2: IRS Direct Pay

  1. Visit irs.gov/directpay
  2. Select “Estimated Tax” as the reason for payment
  3. Select Form 1120 and the applicable tax period
  4. Enter your business information and payment amount
  5. Confirm and save the confirmation number

Adjusting Your Estimates

If your business income changes significantly during the year, contact us to adjust your estimated payment amounts. Overpaying generates a refund or credit, while underpaying may result in penalties. We review your estimates after each quarterly financial review.
