Below is a complete list of the documents we need to prepare your 2025 corporate tax return. The more complete your submission, the faster we can prepare your return. If you are unsure whether a document is needed, include it — we will sort it out.
Income documents
- 1099-NEC / 1099-MISC — Nonemployee compensation and miscellaneous income received
- 1099-INT — Interest income from bank accounts and investments
- 1099-DIV — Dividend income from investments
- 1099-B — Proceeds from broker and barter exchange transactions
- Schedule K-1 (Form 1065) — Income from partnerships or S-corporations
- Rental income records — If the corporation owns rental property
- Sales records — Gross receipts and revenue documentation
- Other income documentation — Royalties, licensing fees, or other revenue sources
Deduction documents
- Payroll records — W-2 and W-3 summaries, payroll tax deposits, benefits costs
- Rent and lease payments — Office space, equipment leases
- Insurance premiums — Business liability, property, workers’ comp, health insurance
- Professional services — Legal, accounting, consulting fees
- Office expenses — Supplies, software subscriptions, utilities
- Travel and entertainment — Business travel, meals (50% deductible)
- Vehicle expenses — Mileage logs or actual expense records for business vehicles
- Charitable contributions — Donation receipts and acknowledgment letters
- Interest paid — Mortgage interest, business loan interest, line of credit interest

- Profit & Loss Statement — Year-end income statement for 2025
- Balance Sheet — Year-end balance sheet as of December 31, 2025
- General ledger — Complete general ledger or trial balance
- Bank statements — December 2025 statements for all business accounts
- Asset purchases — Invoices for equipment, vehicles, or property acquired in 2025
- Asset dispositions — Records of assets sold, scrapped, or disposed of in 2025
- Depreciation schedules — Current depreciation schedule for all fixed assets
- Loan documents — Statements showing principal and interest for business loans
Prior year & reference documents
- 2024 tax return — Prior year corporate tax return (Form 1120)
- Estimated tax payments — Records of all estimated tax payments made for 2025
- State tax returns — Prior year state returns if applicable
- Extension filed — Copy of Form 7004 if an extension was filed
- IRS correspondence — Any letters or notices received from the IRS during 2025
