Preparer notes

The following observations were made during the preparation of your 2025 Form 1120. These are informational items that may affect your tax liability or future planning.

  • Revenue recognition: Gross receipts increased 14% over 2024, driven primarily by Q3 and Q4 contract revenue. This is consistent with your bookkeeping records.
  • Depreciation: Two new assets were placed in service during 2025 — a delivery vehicle ($42,000) and office equipment ($18,500). We applied MACRS depreciation and elected Section 179 for the equipment.
  • Meals & entertainment: Total meals expense of $8,340 was adjusted to the 50% deductible amount ($4,170) on the return.
  • State nexus: Based on sales activity, you may have nexus obligations in two additional states. We recommend a nexus review in Q2 2026.

  • Please respond to all questions in the comments section below as soon as possible — we cannot finalize your return until all items are resolved.
